Our laboratory testing process focuses on risks that B2B buyers care about before mass production: heat, vibration, drop protection, hinge life, cable durability, interface wear, keyboard life, battery performance, corrosion resistance and extreme climate operation.

Temperature Rise Test

Equipment: Infrared thermal imager.

Condition: Record the initial highest temperature point, then check shell temperature at 30, 60, 90 and 120 minutes.

Standard: Temperature rise must not exceed 25°C.

Purpose: Verify thermal design and reduce heat-related component aging risks.

Cable Swing Bending Test

Equipment: Cable bending tester.

Condition: 200 gf bending force, 35 ±5 cycles/min, 3,000 continuous bending cycles at the cable root.

Standard: Electrical function remains normal, with no short circuit or open circuit.

Purpose: Simulate repeated bending of power and data cables during long-term use.

Transportation Vibration Test

Equipment: Simulated automobile transportation vibration table.

Condition: For packaged products up to 68 kg, vibration frequency 120–200 rpm for 60 minutes.

Standard: Product function, appearance and packaging remain normal after testing.

Purpose: Verify packaging protection during long-distance transportation.

Hinge Open-Close Test

Equipment: Hinge flipping tester.

Condition: Open and close at around 8 cycles/minute for 10,000 cycles.

Standard: Display, cable, hinge and cover gaps remain normal; the screen should not auto-close at 45°.

Purpose: Simulate 3–5 years of daily laptop use and verify hinge life.

Packaging Drop Test

Equipment: Double-arm drop tester.

Condition: Free drop from 1 meter on one corner, three edges and six surfaces.

Standard: Product function and appearance remain unchanged; packaging must not show obvious damage.

Purpose: Simulate accidental drops during handling or transportation.

Abrasion Resistance Test

Equipment: Alcohol and eraser abrasion tester.

Condition: Test silk-screen and coating with eraser, 99% alcohol and repeated rubbing cycles.

Standard: Logos, key characters and coatings remain clear, with no peeling, fading or base exposure.

Purpose: Verify surface printing and coating durability during daily use and cleaning.

Port Insertion Test

Equipment: Insertion and removal tester.

Condition: Repeat insertion and removal 6,000 times for USB, power, audio and other ports.

Standard: Connector feel and electrical function remain normal after testing.

Purpose: Verify terminal wear resistance and contact reliability for long-term use.

Keyboard Life Test

Equipment: Key life tester.

Condition: Apply 200 gf force to commonly used keys for 100,000 presses.

Standard: Key feel, rebound and electrical function remain normal.

Purpose: Verify keyboard durability for heavy daily use.

Bare Machine Vibration Test

Equipment: Vibration tester.

Condition: Frequency 10 → 50 → 10 Hz, tested on selected opposite surfaces for 1 hour.

Standard: Product function remains normal after testing.

Purpose: Simulate vibration during vehicle transport, backpack carrying or mobile use.

Charge and Discharge Test

Equipment: Battery test system.

Condition: Check charge and discharge time and cell electrical parameters according to each battery specification.

Standard: Battery performance must match the model requirement.

Purpose: Verify real capacity, charging management and cell consistency.

Salt Spray Test

Equipment: Salt spray tester.

Condition: 5% sodium chloride solution at 35°C ±2°C for 24 hours.

Standard: No red rust appears on the tested metal surface.

Purpose: Verify corrosion resistance for hinges, connector housings and other metal parts.

Equipment: Constant temperature and humidity chamber.

Condition: High temperature, low temperature, cycling, high-temperature operation and low-temperature operation tests.

Standard: Product function and appearance remain normal after environmental testing.
